PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY.
This Affiliate Program Agreement ("Agreement") is made between Medical Scribes Training Institute LLC (referred to as "Company," "we," "our," or "us") and the individual or entity applying for participation in the Medical Scribes Training Institute Affiliate Program (referred to as "Affiliate," "you," or "your").
By submitting an application and participating in the affiliate program, you agree to the terms outlined in this Agreement.

1. DEFINITIONS
Affiliate Program: The program that allows approved affiliates to earn commission-based revenue by promoting Medical Scribes Training Institute courses and referring customers via unique affiliate links or coupon codes.
Affiliate Dashboard: The platform where affiliates can access tracking links, promotional materials, and commission reports.
Qualified Sale: A sale made by a customer who clicks the affiliate’s unique tracking link or uses their assigned coupon code, completes a purchase, and remains a customer past the refund period.
Cookie Duration: The length of time an affiliate referral is valid. Our program operates on a 30-day cookie duration (i.e., the customer must complete a purchase within 30 days of clicking the affiliate’s link for the affiliate to receive credit).

2. ENROLLMENT & ELIGIBILITY
To join our affiliate program, you must:
Submit a completed application through the Affiliate Signup Page.
Provide accurate and truthful information about your business, website, and promotional methods.
Agree to comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including FTC guidelines for affiliate disclosures.
Receive approval from our team before being granted access to the affiliate dashboard and promotional materials.
We reserve the right to reject applications for any reason. If you are accepted and later found to be in violation of program rules, we may terminate your participation immediately.

3. COMMISSION STRUCTURE & TIERS
Your earnings are based on a tiered commission structure, allowing you to increase your commission rate based on cumulative approved commissions.

30-Day Cookie Duration: If a customer clicks your affiliate link and makes a purchase within 30 days, you receive credit for the sale.

4. PAYMENT TERMS & PAYOUT SCHEDULE
Commission Payout Schedule
Payout Date: 15th of each month
Payment for Prior Month’s Sales:
Sales must be at least 30 days old before commissions are paid.
Example: A sale made on January 5th won’t be 30 days old until February 4th, so the commission will be paid on March 15th.
Minimum Payout Requirement
Affiliates must earn a minimum of $250 before payments are processed. Unpaid commissions roll over to the next payout cycle.
Payment Method
Payouts are made via Paypal, Stripe, Check/Money Order or Amazon Gift Card - selection made in affiliate account.
Affiliates must submit an up-to-date W9 form and banking information before receiving any payments.

5. AFFILIATE RESPONSIBILITIES
As an affiliate, you agree to:
Promote Medical Scribes Training Institute courses ethically and in accordance with all legal requirements.
Use only the marketing materials provided in the Affiliate Resource Center or approved by us.
Clearly disclose your relationship as an affiliate in ALL promotions, per FTC guidelines.
Accurately represent our brand, products, and pricing.
Keep your affiliate dashboard information (email, payment details, tax forms) up to date.
Prohibited Activities
Affiliates MAY NOT:
❌ Engage in false, misleading, or exaggerated advertising.
❌ Use spam, unsolicited emails, or misleading practices to promote our courses.
❌ Bid on paid ads using trademarked terms (e.g., "Medical Scribes Training Institute") unless given written permission.
❌ Offer unauthorized additional discounts, cashback, or incentives.
❌ Use cookie stuffing, link cloaking, or fraudulent traffic methods.
❌ Post on our official social media pages with the intent to drive sales via affiliate links.
Violation of any of these rules may result in termination of your affiliate account and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.

6. TRACKING, REPORTING & RESOURCES
Affiliates can log into the Affiliate Dashboard at any time to view:
Real-time sales data
Commission reports
Promotional materials (banners, graphics, swipe copy, etc.)
Tracking & Attribution:
Sales are tracked via unique affiliate links and coupon codes.
If a customer forgets to use an affiliate link or code, the sale will not be attributed to the affiliate.
We are not responsible for lost commissions due to tracking issues outside our control.

7. AFFILIATE COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT

As an affiliate of Medical Scribes Training Institute LLC, you must comply with the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing (CAN-SPAM) Act when promoting our courses via email marketing. Failure to follow these rules may result in removal from the affiliate program and forfeiture of commissions.

Below are the CAN-SPAM compliance rules you must follow:

✔ Include an Accurate “From” Line

Your email’s “From,” “To,” and “Reply-To” fields must accurately reflect the sender’s identity.
Do not mislead recipients about who is sending the email.
✔ Use a Clear & Honest Subject Line

The subject line must accurately describe the content of the email.
No misleading subject lines (e.g., “URGENT: Your Medical License is Expiring” if that’s not true).
✔ Disclose That the Email is an Advertisement

If the email is promotional, it must clearly state that it is an advertisement or marketing email.
Example: “This email contains affiliate links, and I may earn a commission if you make a purchase.”
✔ Include a Valid Physical Address

Every email you send must include a valid physical mailing address for your business.
If you don’t have a business address, use a P.O. Box registered with the U.S. Postal Service.
✔ Provide a Clear Opt-Out Method

You must include a visible and easy-to-understand way for recipients to unsubscribe from your emails.
Example Opt-Out Statement:
"If you no longer wish to receive emails from me about Medical Scribes Training Institute, [click here to unsubscribe]."
Opt-out requests must be honored within 10 business days.
